The Around Thailand Loop
The 'Iron Butt' loop!
The one and only tour which requires no explanation, sells itself.
Overview
Three weeks / 21 nights, 7,778Km, weekend in Pattaya, weekend in Phuket, Start/finish Chiang Mai. 'Nuff said.
Well, what else could you possibly want to know: Where are we going? Everywhere! What are we doing? EVERYTHING! Experienced riders only!!
"Oo-oo, can I be a pussy and join / leave your group halfway through...?" NO!!
If you're able to hack three weeks of total, full on, sensory overload both on & off the road, put your responsible self away for the best part of a month and postpone sleep for the sakes of fun...almost indefinitely, you're in. If not, don't even ask, honestly, we'll laugh. Lots. Shandy-pants' & Big Girls' Blouses need NOT apply!!
We LOVE being able to display this gorgeous land and her wonderful inhabitants to one & all. We take our responsibility as mini-ambassadors (in a manner of speaking) very seriously, likewise our hearts will always belong to this amazing land.
However: All work & no play, dull, Jack & Jill, etc.., THIS tour is the one we keep back for ourselves. Never watered down, NO punches pulled, Gauntlet's down, reckon you have it in you...?
Plenty of ladies have managed it. Quite a few "tough" guys, didn't. You know who you are!
The River Kwae Loop (Tour E)
Overview
Arrival & Airport Transfer, Welcome Dinner, Day Ride, Cultural Dinner & Show, Thailand's Highest Peak, an Unbelievable assortment of roads & surfaces all the way from dirt to 6-lane highway! Visiting Mae Sariang, Mae Sot, Nakhon Sawan, Kanchanaburi, Kampaeng Phet, Tak.
Day 1) Arrival
Day 2) Day Ride. Shakedown for rider & machine, ensure both prepared & ready for the coming ministrations. And yes, if you're less than a half decent rider I will chuck you in the truck for the duration. No refunds.
Day 3) 320Km: Visiting temples, falls and a museum bearing opposite viwpoints - fascinating
Day 4) 230 Km: Visiting Burmese Refugee Camps, plus scenery & experiences only available through us, less Km's than yesterday while still more saddle-time. Good Value.
Day 5) 354 Km. Easy K's today. Cruising. Many, many possible attractions, TBA D2.
Day 6) 381 Km. Should be settling into the bike by now. If it ain't a part of you already...sure will be by the end of today! This one separates the wheat from the chaff, crescendo ending to the day with "the corkscrew", BEST bit of road in the entire country! Stay sharp!!
Day 7) 70 Km. Kushty. Often touted as "Thailand's most beautiful waterfalls", it's still worth a visit just to laugh at the 100+ Kg Russian ladies unable to understand they're actually offensive to the eye? Pictograph signs every 50-100m apart proclaiming respectable dress / respectful behaviour..which is why in the north here you'll see Chinese language rather than Russian, lesser of two...
Day 8) Off the bikes. If you like?! 100 Km or so to the aforementioned "mustn't miss", further if you like, we're entirely at your disposal, the "customer's choice" day.
Day 9) 350 Km. Northbound again, mountains to the left, plains on the right - avoiding those awful 6-lane wide strips of concrete & tarmacadam, home of the catatonic.
Day 10) 80 Km Half a day exploring some quite phenomenal archeology & architecture, before heading north to a fantastic little spot on the riverside... winding down, time to reflect upon the unbelievable amount of...stuff...crammed into such a short space of time and: It's over already?!?! We only left Chiang Mai the day before...oh, yeah, suppose so...
Day 11) 300 Km. Sweeping bends, chilled, relaxed, give the ol girl a handful every now and again. Become quite attached we have. Certainly never had a moment to begin those paperback thrillers bought on impulse in the airport, never pushed, never rushed, never had an idea there even was any form of schedule or timetable? And yet, never wanted for a thing, never had to ask...either...never actually had to worry, no concerns, don't enjoy admitting it but didn't have to..think..really? Appeared to be the entire country moved around our group, adapted itself to our needs, flawlessly, as if a whim of our collective wills.
Day 12) Wow. Refreshed, relaxed & even still a little shell-shocked! Return Transfer to CNX International airport seamlessly organised, beginning to wonder if it was all a dream and really I'm about to wake up on the Inbound flight, before the holiday? The TMT regular guests assured me this disjointed feeling totally normal on the first tour or two, those little "grin" moments just keep unveiling themselves months afterwards...
The Sukhothai Loop (Tour D) - Cruising Heaven
For a brief but brilliant period (1238–1376), the walled city of Sukhothai presided as the capital of Thailand, creating the legacy of a unified nation of Thai peoples and a phenomenal artistic heritage. Now an impressive assembly of elegant ruins, the Old City, has been preserved as Sukhothai Historical Park, one of Thailand's most popular attractions.
Following the border with Myanmar you almost feeling as if you’re there! Different faces and tribal dress make you realise that this certainly is the-road-less-travelled. This is certainly the "long way round” to this most famous of Thai cities, but you'll be glad to have experienced roads and scenery most people will never get the chance to see.

Tailor-made Boots (Currently Unavailable)
Apologies, our cobbler is currently experiencing health issues - these boots (or similar) will be offered again ASAF
Had a thought the other day... As we can source hand-made, tailored clothing here for about half the price you can get it off the peg back in the West why not pass these savings on to our guests? Starting small with the boots shown below, other items will be joining our range as and when I can source them.
Buffalo hide, softer, stronger than cow leather, far more durable. Reinforcing in stainless steel, none of that cheap plastic here! Fully padded inside and protected outside with scuff guards etc.
Special offer for our guests, only 6,000b!
Ordering couldn't be easier, simply draw around both feet on a sheet of A4 paper as shown, add the required measurements, scan it in and email to me. We can't of course be held responsible for faulty measurements but adjustments only run to a couple of hundred baht. Your boots will be ready and waiting for you when you arrive! We'll add the cost to your tour payment.
I've been using this guy for around four years now and not a single complaint. The above picture is exactly how he does it, with measurements around the indicated areas, plus one around the narrowest point of your ankle and one around your calf at boot top height, also to be included. L/h foot measurements l/h side of your drawing and (of course!) r/h foot measurements to the right.
